DOWNTOWN EAST

Downtown East wanted to re-brand itself as a fun & exciting venue for Singaporeans to consider whether for leisure or work. It has some great properties within such as a hotel & a water theme park. The problem? Located at Pasir Ris, it is a bit out of the way. Invited to pitch with our design partner-agency to help with the campaign strategy, we decided to tackle the perception & turn it on its head. FRESH
As the new kid on the ultra-competitive skincare block, Fresh's foray into Singapore was not without its challenges. We were asked to help spearhead its social media efforts at a time when Facebook was seen as an effective & less costly platform to target beauty lovers. From 2015 to 2019, we worked with our digital, media & event partner-agencies to help Fresh transform from a cult newbie into the well-loved beauty brand that it is today.

SHARITY & FRIENDS
Sharity elephant is a beloved childhood icon that many Singaporeans grew up with. So when the time came for it to have an image refresh & a re-think of what it would mean for a new generation, we could not pass up the opportunity. Together with our design & animation partner-agencies, we pitched to Community Chest how Sharity needed friends to help him address the relevant issues kids face today. To that end, we conceptualised many stories centred around kindness, bullying, mental wellness, inequality etc & turn them into animations that we hope our young audience will enjoy. You can watch the animation videos here:

ION ORCHARD
A brand we managed in our previous MNC agency ad-life , ION Orchard became one of our first clients when we founded DoA. From 2013 to 2015, we collaborated with award-winning Terrence Tan, known for his visual flair, & our event agency-partner to create distinctively eye-popping key visuals & out-of-the-box activation ideas that, today, still count as some of the brand's best work.
